Wreck Weeks

We will be running out wreck weeks again in 2015. These have proved to be incredibly popular over the last few years. The idea of the wreck week is to get out and do some great wreck diving. They are ideal if you don't have a regular dive buddy or dive group and want to dive with some like minded divers. These weeks are also ideal if you have recently done a course and now want to do some diving in the ranges you are newly qualified for. They are also ideal if you just want to get out and do some great wreck diving.

The dives this year are all being run with Scimitar Diving in Portland. The Portland/Weymouth area offer great facilities and a huge range of diving.

The 45m week is aimed at technical divers and most dives are likely to involve mandatory decompression. As such diver should be qualified to TDI Adv Nitrox/Deco Procedures/Helitrox, IANTD ART, GUE Tech 1 or equivalent. Dives are likely to include classic wrecks such as the Salsette as well as some lesser know or unidentified wrecks.

The 60m wreck will, of course, only be suitable for those happy doing extended decompression stops using Trimix and multiple stage cylinders. As such divers should be qualified to TDI Trimix, IANTD Normoxic Trimix or GUE Tech 2. The focus here will be on lesser know or unidentified wrecks.

Of course all sites are dependant on the weather. All trips are open to rebreather or open circuit divers.

If you would like more details on any of these trips thenemail us.If you want to book onto one of the trips then you can book directly with Scimitar Diving by emailing Scimitar.
